Race 1. 2-5 Well we’re going to need a better ride today from Geroux who may of cost this horse last time. Should sit right off the 5 and catch him down the stretch. Distance wasn’t the issue.
Race 2. 5-4-10 Wide open race. Tough to look against the well bred firster for brown but I settled on the #5. Ran a big number first time on the turf and his last race was washed off to the slop. Experience may be the difference
Race 3. 6-8-3 How quick will this group go? Looks like all speed . I’m thinking the 6 breaking from the outside may sit a cat bird seat for trainer Jason Servis. Look for the closers like the 3 and 8 to be rolling late.
Race 4. 1-4-3 I’ll give a shot to number 1 here as past of the entry to win the race. Horse had a terrible trip last out and now adds blinkers. I think if he can work the trip he’s much the best.
Race 5. 1-5 I’ll take the #1 here . First time gelding and takes the rail on the drop in class for Mark Casse. Wide open race to end the pick 4 and 5. Must spreas.
Race 6. #6 I’m not going to talk anyone off a horse here . Good luck. I’ll stand with Maker and top jock Jose Ortiz and hopefully get 5/1.
Race 7. Exacta 8/1,3,10,11 The 8 had a miserable trip last out and looks like the one to beat here today. I’d key the 8 on top with some long shots such as the 1,3,10,11.
Race 8. #4 Beatable favorite here in the #3. I’ll settle on the 4 who has been firing bullets after his first career start. Chased a next out winner at Belmont last time and should be plenty fit for race 2 of his career.
Race 9. 4-6-7 Price play here with the #4. Alabama bound broke slow last out from the 10 hole and wasn’t able to get out front. Castellano comes back which is encouraging and should try to steal this race gate to wire on a speed favoring course.
Race 10. 5-8 #5 and #8 to me seem like the logical two in this race . Chalky.
Race 11. 9-8 Chad Brown enters the 9 at 4/5 taking the biggest drop possible. Shouldn’t lose but I want to to have the 8 horse on my ticket as well trying to wire the field.
